When the supernatural presence of Holy Spirit is released, we have a tendency to be scared. After the resurrection of Jesus, the guards fell into a dead faint when they saw the Angel of the LORD. The women who had come to tend to Jesus' body were told, "do not be afraid." But they WERE afraid. The Word says that they simultaneously experienced fear and joy. When they saw Jesus for the first time after His resurrection, He also knew they were scared, and encouraged them, saying, "do not be afraid." Matt 28.
